Casino de Paris in Paris, FR — April 24, 2025

South-African born and Berlin based singer songwriter, Alice Phoebe Lou brought her 2025 European headline tour for its third date in France last week. Having performed four times in Paris in just over three years, it’s safe to say she has a solid and varied fanbase in the country. And what better place for the witchy vibes of her indie folk sounds than the gorgeous Casino de Paris, a luxurious venue in the capital, which only added to the artist’s enthralling performance. Twenty minutes after Cordelia opening the evening with heartfelt serenades and her iconic song “Little Life,” which Alice and her band stepped on stage to the loud cheers of the crowd. Beginning her concert with “Angel,” her setlist ranged from fan favorites, such as “Witches” and “Open My Door” to her latest releases like “Underworld.” Alice is a woman of many talents and she took turns playing the guitar or the piano. She guided the mood throughout from calmer songs to dancing and having fun, along with the crowd. Despite a rather simple stage, the audience remained entranced until the very end of the night, proving her tour is off to a great start and it surely won’t be her last show here.
