Washington D.C. native, Anees brought his energetic and beautifully poignant ‘Homesick’ tour at The Novo in Los Angeles for an unforgettable night of love and unity through his music. Whether he was bringing a couple on stage for a surprise marriage proposal, or having a freestyle rap battle with a fan, Anees never failed to deliver with his infectious smile and stage presence. Midway through the show, he delivered a beautifully composed original homage to his Palestinian heritage while bringing awareness to the genocide occurring in his homeland of Gaza. He ended the night off with his hit single “sun and moon”, gifting his fans with a memoir from this unforgettable experience.
