Back on You World Tour — Fox Theater in Oakland, CA — April 10, 2025

After kicking off his Back on You World Tour just last week, Joe Keery (aka Djo) jumps on stage to greet a roaring crowd at a sold-out show hosted by the Fox Theater in downtown Oakland. With a range from adrenaline-pumping rockstar energy to serene and smooth vibes, Djo captivated his fans while performing tracks from his most recent album, The Crux as well as hits from his previous albums DECIDE and Twenty Twenty. He delivers exhilarating performances of tracks including “Gloom,” “Basic Being Basic,” “Gap Tooth Smile,” and “Flash Mountain.” While Keery has found successes in acting roles, notably as Steve Harrington in the Netflix series Stranger Things, he’s also been heavily acclaimed as a musician. He was initially a guitarist for psychedelic rock band, Post Animal starting 2015 before debuting as Djo in 2019 with the album, Twenty Twenty. Post Animal also joins Djo as opener for this tour, and they do an amazing job setting the tone for the crowd leading into the headlining set. The tour will continue to Coachella the next two weekends, as well as stops all around the US and Europe.
