The Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY — November 26, 2024

Fousheé has been an artist to watch for quite a few years now. She has performed at Coachella, Rolling Loud, opened for Steve Lacy’s ‘Give You The World’ tour and so much more. It was thoroughly exciting that her electrifying performance made a tour stop at The Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. This venue being the perfect, intimate space for a performance like her.

In the last couple years, Fousheé has been featured in some special projects with remarkable artists such as Teezo Touchdown, Ravyn Lenae and Childish Gambino, amongst others. With past projects and features having been extremely multifaceted, Fousheé’s tour for her new album, Pointy Heights was highly anticipated. Fousheé’s swag and commanding presence dominated the stage in a leather chap and vest set, partnered with her shorts and hair so blonde it glowed. From the start, alongside the band, Fousheé captivated the crowd with her incredible stage presence and diverse array of music.

With an incredible musical repertoire, this show clearly demonstrated her versatility as an artist. She performed songs from her eruptive debut album, softCORE juxtaposed with Pointy Heights, an album that pays homage to her Jamaican roots and nostalgia. Not many artists can create such chaos, energy, and harmony within their shows. Fousheé’s range became quite evident as “stupid bitch” began and the crowd became explosive with energy. Quickly Fousheé hopped into the crowd joining in the mosh and for a brief moment the entire venue raged together. This moment contrasted her performance of “flowers” which shortly followed. The couples of the crowd embraced, the best friends swayed together, and the guitar solo riffed. By the time the encore chants began, the crowd was left yearning for more. Her performance was an electrifying showcase of genre bending music, raw energy, and musical mastery; perfectly blended together, exuding power, unity and presence.
