The Factory in Deep Ellum in Dallas, TX — March 15, 2025

White Noise has been one of my favorite albums since I first saw PVRIS play songs off of it in 2016. So, of course, I had no choice but to attend the album’s 10 year anniversary tour.

Getting to experience—and photograph—the entirety of White Noise beginning to end in Dallas last weekend was a dream. It being vocalist Lynn Gunn’s birthday made the night extra special. After a great opening set by Raue and a celebratory singing of happy birthday by the audience, PVRIS launched into the first half of their show: White Noise. It was emotional for me, hearing music I so vividly remember from high school, and seeing the intensity of that nostalgia mirrored on the faces of everyone around me.

A cool interlude of distorted voices and pulsing lights separated White Noise from the band’s newer music. Lynn is a powerhouse of a vocalist and the audience matched her in intensity. The venue was alight with energy, people dancing and singing and little balloons being tossed back and forth over the crowd all evening. The night reminded me of how much I love seeing PVRIS live—I already can’t wait to experience them again.
