Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA — August 20, 2025

It was a bittersweet farewell at the Greek Theatre on Wednesday night as Aliana and Patrick, husband-and-wife duo Tennis, performed their last few remaining shows. A full set of over 20 songs, with songs pulled from over 5 albums from their 15 year repertoire, the duo encapsulated every emotion and feeling that drove them to begin and end their music project. It was as if the duo were physically embracing their fans before embarking on their next voyage via sailing, where their story began, and what has continued to inspire their creative journey until now.

Keeping the set simple, Aliana and Patrick did not disappoint with their iconic 60s and 70s updos and outfits that have remained a staple visual of their brand. With colorful and minimal background projections playing behind them, it illuminated their performance and added to their peaceful, soothing instrumentals that had their audience swaying. Every corner of the Greek Theatre was held by the strong, silky 50s inspired cadence of Aliana’s vocals while Patrick’s guitar solos reinvigorated the groovy energy. Amidst the heartwarming exchanges on stage between the couple, Aliana’s sweet exclamation of “That’s my husband!” added a touching moment to a night swept by a nostalgic breeze.

Not just a night to bid their farewells, it was also a night filled with achieving milestones that the duo could only dream of while beginning their career aboard the ocean nearly 15 years ago. A night of gratitude and of closure, fans of the duo were able to hold on to a memory of the duo as a coalescence of their most genuine and sincere creative selves.
