Cowell Theater in San Francisco, CA — September 22, 2024

K-pop fans gathered this past Sunday for a sensational evening with The KingDom, a seven-member group under GF Entertainment consisting of members Dann, Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, Jahan and Hwon. The boys took the stage in San Francisco for the final stop of their Unveil tour, delivering a combination of hard-hitting choreography and strong vocals that kept the audience roaring the entire night. The KingDom offers a unique concept to K-pop artistry, particularly centering the group’s “lore” around historical kings. Interestingly, each of the members’ stage names take inspiration from kings throughout history, such as King Arthur of Britain, King Louis of France, Ivan the Terrible, Shah Jahan of the Mughals and so on. In brief intermissions during the show, videos play from their music videos that feature costume designs and aesthetics also inspired from the regions these kings hail from. Appropriately, the group calls its fanbase the ‘kingmakers.’ Throughout the show, The KingDom performed tracks from their most recent album, REALIZE such as “Flip that Coin,” “ENERGY,” and “GUNDAM,” as well as popular tracks from across their preceding History Of Kingdom album series, including “Excalibur,” “Dystopia,” “COUP D’ETAT” and “X-GAME.” To the delight of the audience, the group also performed covers of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” and Imagine Dragon’s “Believer” which allowed them to showcase their impressive vocal range. The overall energy of the show was exciting and vibrant, and with more music on the way, fans eagerly await the group’s next tour.
