Ax and the Hatchetmen delivered an electrifying sold-out headline show at House of Blues: The Parish in Anaheim, California, which showcased why their fan base is quickly growing beyond their tour support slots with Fitz and the Tantrums. The energy inside the venue was unmistakable as the young band took the stage, feeding off a crowd that was buzzing from the start. Opener, Dylan Cotrone warmed things up with a lively acoustic set, his playful track “Chicken Pot Pie” prompting a full-venue singalong that set the tone for the night. When Ax and the Hatchetmen ended their setlist with a high-energy cover of “Everybody Talks,” fans were fully immersed, having sung and danced their way through the band’s latest EP, Constant Change.
