Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY — November 7, 2025

Celebrating their new album Iron, Post Animal kicked off their 2025 headlining tour this month, making an early stop in New York City on a high-energy Friday night. Fresh off a world tour with founding member and acclaimed solo artist Djo, the band returned to a sold-out crowd at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. From the very first note, the room buzzed with excitement as the thoughtfully curated setlist flowed seamlessly between old fan favorites and new tracks from Iron. From songs like “Gelatin Mode” and “Ralphie” to “Dorien Kregg,” the crowd erupted, jumping and singing along so loudly it nearly drowned out the band. The warm welcome did not go unnoticed as Post Animal took a moment to recognize the incredible energy from the fans, who matched the band’s enthusiasm beat for beat. The indie-psychedelic rock band Post Animal exemplifies artistry and collaboration, with each member effortlessly trading instruments and lead vocals throughout their discography. Their versatility and collective creativity infuse every track with a distinct energy, blending a kaleidoscope of sounds, textures, and influences into something entirely their own. The night closed with encore songs dedicated to longtime fans who’ve been there since their debut album, When I Think of You in a Castle, sending NYC off on a euphoric high note Friday night. With a track like “Dirtpicker,” the guitar riffs hit hard and the mosh-pit energy felt endless.
