The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA — October 17, 2025

The final night of Bad Suns’ “Accelerator” tour was nothing short of electric. A sold-out crowd packed the venue wall-to-wall, pulsing with the kind of insane energy that only true fans can generate. Every lyric, every ad-lib; this night went beyond just a concert, it was a full-blown cumulative experience. The night kicked off with the help of artist, Joe P. and his static energy. Bursting with energy he conquered the stage with his commanding presence and addictive melodies.

The night felt alive with youth — vibrant, dancing, and totally locked in. Even Calum Hood (bassist for 5 Seconds of Summer) was spotted in attendance, dancing along to the beats and riffs that echoed the golden days of 2016 indie boy bands. But make no mistake: this three-piece is no nostalgia act. They’re evolving, their fans in tow — and Accelerator, their latest record, proves it.

While the band gave fans a taste of the new, including standout track “Madeline,” the crowd didn’t miss a beat. Every word sung back to frontman Chris as if the song had been out for years. Their sonic palette continues to blend raw honesty and heartbreak with shimmering guitar riffs and satisfying melodies — the formula that made us fall in love with this genre in the first place.

“SALT” brought pure magic, a call to dance with an unshakable groove, while a surprise off-the-cuff moment had Chris crafting a spontaneous ballad to Los Angeles: “Close your eyes for one moment and see what it feels like to be alive, right here right now!” He had the crowd singing back with the kind of passion that cements a night of live music in the memories of everyone in attendance; intimate, electric, unforgettable. As the final notes rang out and the house lights rose, it was clear: this wasn’t just the end of a tour, but the beginning of a new era for a band still delivering sonic gold.
