Cannons — The Roxy in West Hollywood, CA — April 18, 2023

Fresh off their first time playing at Coachella, Cannons, stepped onto The Roxy stage; a vision of glitter and melodies better than your dreams. The crowd was buzzing and swaying and in complete tandem with the magnetic energy of lead vocalist Michelle Joy. Bringing the dreamiest soundscape to life alongside Michelle was Ryan Clapham on guitar, keyboardist Paul Davis, and Ben Hilzinger on the drums. Cannons is everything you would imagine of your own hazy coming-of-age film about your life with the windows down, twinkling city lights and ever-present longing. With a spinning disco ball above and red heart-shaped balloons floating around, the crowd entered into a dreamland as Michelle Joy sang ballads and anthems of heartbreak and love. With music slow and sultry like dripping honey, Cannons performed fan favorites like “Fire For You”, “Bad Dream”, “Ruthless”. The crowd sang along to every single word, including their latest single, “Loving You”, released on April 14th.
