Stepping out into the soft blue spotlight, Matt Corby took to the stage with Monday to start off the show. The Rough Trade show marked the end of his US tour to promote his upcoming album Telluric. With his soothing melodies, it’s no wonder that he attracted such a diverse audience to his show. Performers interacting with the crowd between songs is a gesture that many concert goers can appreciate; Matt Corby’s laughing with the audience and even having a drink with his band onstage really enhanced the overall experience of the concert. From softer ballads like Belly Side Up to more energetic pieces like Do You No Harm, Matt Corby’s performance exceeded the audience’s expectations and kept them wanting more.
