Hello Mary — Elsewhere (Zone One) in Brooklyn, NY — March 24, 2023

Hello Mary brought noisy, glittering alt-rock to elsewhere on Friday, March 24th. A crowd of teens celebrated the thick basslines and tightly bound guitar solos. Though young, Hello Mary is far from DIY, and put on a show like they’d been touring for years, communicating in shared understandings of one another’s rhythms and tendencies. Equally as impressive is their record which came out earlier this year, which marches through nostalgic noise-rock tracks like “Rabbit” and “Spiral.”
