With support from Joywave and a room full of new and old fans, Metric put on a great show at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom. With a six album discography behind them, the group is on tour promoting their new album, Pagans in Vegas. Their twenty-one song set featured new songs from the 2015 release like “The Shade,” “Cascades,” and “Too Bad, So Sad,” as well as a varied selection of favorites from their other five albums. Emily Haines provided a great energy and showed off her vocal prowess by performing “Raw Sugar” and “Combat Baby” acapella, she also had a break in the middle of the set by allowing fans the chance to sing “Dreams So Real” on stage with the group. Haines, along with guitarist James Shaw, bassist Joshua Winstead, and drummer Joules Scott-Key, give an amazing rock show. They packed the two thousand capacity room for an unforgettable celebration.
