Caroline Polachek & Toro Y Moi — The Factory in Dallas, TX — April 26, 2023

On April 26th, 2023, Caroline Polachek‘s Spiraling Tour made its last leg in Texas at The Factory in Dallas. The night was marked by an opening set from Toro Y Moi, who played their final support show of the tour.

Toro Y Moi‘s set was a perfect start to the evening, setting the tone for a night of musical exploration and experimentation. The crowd was immediately drawn in by their unique blend of electronic and indie rock sounds with the addition of a live band. Throughout their set, Toro Y Moi showcased a range of tracks from their impressive discography. Some standout songs included “Freelance,” and “Ordinary Pleasure.” To finish off the set, Chaz and crew played their collaboration with producer Flume, “The Difference.” 

When Polachek took the stage, she immediately commanded the attention of the audience. Her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence had the crowd captivated from the very first note. She opened with “Welcome to My Island,” which set the tone for the rest of the evening. As the night wore on, the energy in the room only continued to build. Polachek’s performance was a masterclass in musical storytelling, with each song empowering the audience. By the time she closed with “So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings,” the crowd was left in awe of her talent and artistry. Overall, the Spiraling Tour stop in Dallas was a night to remember.
