DPR’s NY stop of their 2022 The Regime World Tour was on September 24, 2022, but for many the experience began the night before. Lines of fans had already started to form outside Hammerstein Ballroom on the night of the 23rd, in hopes of getting the best views of their favorite artists. DPR Cream opened the night with a DJ set, hyping up the crowd for the excitement that was to come. DPR Live followed Cream’s set, coming out with classics like “Text Me”, “Jasmine”, and “Jam and Butterfly”. The crowd sang along and vibed the whole performance. DPR Ian’s grand entrance was nothing short of expectation— fog, wings, light, etc. He captivated the entire venue not just with his vocals, but with artistic choreo interweaved throughout his entire set. Of course, the night would not be complete without a joint performance by the iconic duo, DPR Live and DPR Ian. The crowd went wild as they heard the opening beats drop for “Cheese and Wine”. Eventually, all the artists from DPR joined their labelmates onstage for a grand finale filled with confetti and festivities. The fans’ love for the artists was overwhelmingly evident— just a glimpse of what is to come, with more than half their tour left to to come.
