This festival has always treated me so good with all kinds of vibes, but I will always hold this year’s Coachella near and dear to my heart. For one, this was my first time camping for a music festival and it was honestly the best and most convenient. Did I feel dirty and feral the whole time? Yeah, but it was part of the vibe. I also camped with people I had just met, but the way we connected so fast really made me look at human interaction in a different perspective and made me appreciate everything that music bringing people together has to offer.

Seeing Frank Ocean live has been the peak moment because it’s been the culmination of more than a decade where I’ve forged through different challenges in life, and his music has always been there to guide me through. You could feel he was still hurting while performing, and like how he was there for me in my times of strife, I would like to be the part of the fan base that will always be there for him. With everything that had happened that night, it was still one of my favorite sets I’ve seen all weekend.
