Last month, LA-based grunge/rock band Blacktop Queen made their iconic Troubadour debut, opening for Bishop Briggs. The band put on an energy packed performance, that included their hyped tracks “Spiderbite” and the new, more edgy “BLACKOUT”. Blacktop Queen features Colorado transplant drummer Nate Lotz, and Souther California natives Omar Ahmed on bass, and vocalist/guitarist Evan Ambrose. Together, the trio has set out to create something true to their roots as musicians, who all grew up playing literal “garage rock”.
