Flipturn — The Bellwether in Los Angeles, CA — August 24, 2023

This was my second time seeing Flipturn in concert and they did not disappoint. The band’s unique sound ushered in an eccentric energy at The Bellwether; an irresistible invitation to move and dance throughout the night. Their setlist included songs from their newest album, Shadowglow to their very first EP, as well as their infamous cover of the 80s hit, “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” by Tears for Fears. With this summer being The Bellwether’s grand opening, Flipturn along with their openers, Guantanamo Bay Surf Club and Próxima Parada presented an exciting welcome to the new venue.
