Taking the stage in a fury of emotional exuberance, Gryffin captivated the audience at the El Rey Theatre on May 7th, 2016. His set included a long list of electronic songs infused with his live guitar playing, as well as the features of rapper, Bipolar Sunshine and vocalist, Josef Salvat. By the end of the night, his shirt was soaked in sweat as he ran around the stage and shouted out the lyrics to his songs despite the fact that the audience was listening to a pre-recorded vocal track and not him singing live.
