11/18/16 – The National, Richmond, VA

Despite being from New Zealand, The Naked and Famous were no strangers to their fans attending the show on Friday, November 18th at The National in Richmond, VA. Together with The Chain Gang of 1974 and XYLØ, this tour is a real treat for anyone who has the opportunity to attend.  Having recently released “Simple Forms” back in October, TNAF brought this record to life in a beautiful and energetic way. No matter which direction you looked, you were sure to see people dancing and singing at the top of their lungs, not to mention their light show, which was out of this world. The band gave an all around spectacular performance. I had the chance to meet Alisa Xayalith after the show and she is an absolute gem with a huge heart for her fans. If you like synth driven indie rock or just need some new music, The Naked and Famous is the band for you.
