02/16/17 – Honda Center, Anaheim, CA.
After watching Twenty One Pilots put on a powerful performance this past Thursday at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. It’s no shock that not only were both nights of the tour at the venue sold out, but the guys had also just picked up a Grammy award the weekend before. The band, consisting of Tyler Joseph and Joshua Dun, are currently on their tour known as the Emotional Roadshow, a bit different from the Emotional Roadshow in 2016 with changes made in the setlist and openers. Looking around the venue, it was evident that the audience consisted of people of all kinds where you could spot almost anyone of any age wearing the band’s merchandise or mimicking the band’s iconic black makeup on their neck and hands. The show started off with artists Judah & The Lion and Jon Bellion pumping up the fans. As soon as Twenty One Pilots went on, the crowd of nearly 20,000 people recited every lyric, proving the band’s undeniable impact. Of their full two hours on stage, there was not a single dull moment, and I can’t wait to see what their future has in store for us.
