South Side Ballroom in Dallas, TX — May 24, 2024

I saw Taking Back Sunday perform for the third time last Friday at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas. Frontman Adam Lazzara has always been good at working an audience, and this tour is no exception. He did a million mic tricks—something he is known for—moved across the entire stage, and even brought out his harmonica for a bit. The band has killer stage presence and dedicated fans who make for a thrilling crowd. It’s fun to see people genuinely enjoy themselves at a concert, screaming along to words they’ve known for years. Together with their openers, Citizen, Taking Back Sunday put on a great show that made for a night well spent.
