Held annually in the heart of California’s Central Coast, Shabang Music Festival in San Luis Obispo, stands as a prominent music and arts event in San Luis Obispo, showcasing a diverse lineup of local and international talent across four different stages, offering immersive art installations, engaging workshops and yoga classes, and pop-ups from local vendors, breweries, and wineries. What started off as an idea to throw a concert on the top of a mountain (yes, actually), quickly gained momentum attracting artists, musicians, and attendees from all over. This year’s festival will be held at Dairy Creek Golf Course from May 3-4, and will celebrate the ten year anniversary of the event. The lineup has something for everyone: from student and local bands, to house artists like Noizu, Walker and Royce, and SIDEPIECE, to indie singer-songwriters and bands like Kate Bollinger, The Walters, and Sun Room.
