Perspectives submission by @uptown.downer: “I get a lot of my inspiration from films, and I started this series to explore creating cinematic narratives in my photography. Using a half-frame camera lets me think of photographs in pairs, with two images creating one cohesive, full piece. I love how this allows the photos to play off of one another, and create unusual visual and narrative impacts. I want to continue thinking about photography beyond the single image, and to keep building unique images through split frames.”
