03/23/2016 to 03/27/2016 – Downtown Boise, ID.

The City of Boise is commonly referred to as the Capital of Idaho, which recently hosted visits from political candidates, and the blossoms of springtime flowers. The metropolis also transformed into an inclusive venue for a new wave of artists at the five-year-old Treefort Music Fest. Downtown saw familiar faces as well, such as artists Built to Spill, and hometown native, Trevor Powers performing for the final time as Youth Lagoon. The main stage featured performances from La Luz, Chairlift, and Yacht. Go to most any bar, concert house, or venue and you could find yourself in an intimate setting face-to-face with emerging artists from all around the country and even the world. To allow for both preparation and recovery time, concert-goers often take an entire week off from work and get lost in the music found in the unique spaces of Boise.
