Vodafone Paredes de Coura is a music festival that is held every year in August, in the exquisite setting of Paredes de Coura, which it’s surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty and a must-see location for music lovers. The first edition was held in 1993 and it is currently one of the most popular summer music festivals in Portugal. With a careful and coherent lineup, always faithful to the alternative spirit that characterizes it, the Vodafone Paredes de Coura, which happens next to the fluvial beach of Taboão was already considered one of the five best music festivals in Europe.

This year was their 30th edition of the festival that started on August 16th with Jessie Ware and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes headlining the first night and drawing thousands to their incredible set on the main stage. The incredible musicians have over the years given some outstanding performances at the Paredes De Coura festival in Portugal including Lorde, Loyle Carner, Little Simz and Wilco were a few of the headlining acts this year! Festival goers can participate in a variety of extracurricular activities during the music event in Portugal such as yoga classes, jazz concerts during the afternoons and even the festival Sobe à Vila: a free event that precedes the Vodafone Paredes de Coura festival and takes place from August 12th to 15th. The festival was held in a forest, offers a distinctive ambience that is ideal for nature enthusiasts. Festival-goers frequently choose to camp since it enables them to fully experience the festival.
