Chance Peña opened for David Kushner at The Fonda with his newest EP, Lovers to Strangers. Pena’s acoustic melodies filled the intimate venue, which created a cozy escape within the heart of Hollywood. In the past year, Pena’s track, “In My Room,” has transformed into a cultural phenomenon on TikTok. Even just the first few seconds of the opening melody have become synonymous with nostalgia and gratitude. When Pena performed the song live, he embodies a persona that feels grounded and sensible. It goes without saying that Pena’s take on folk tradition was well received by the Los Angeles crowd.
