Paramount Theatre in Oakland, CA — November 5, 2025

In the heart of Oakland, over 3,000 people gathered for a sold-out show featuring Faye Webster and the local Bay Area Magik*Magik Orchestra at the nearly century-old Paramount Theatre. Faye Webster, indie singer-songwriter from Atlanta, brought the second to last show of the tour to Oakland, which was the final stop of the three locations Faye decided to take this intimate tour on. Faye had performed in the Bay Area just last year while touring her latest album, Underdressed at the Symphony, but many fans felt that pairing with an orchestra was the perfect way to bring these songs to life in their purest form. The stage was set with Faye elevated at the front, the Magik*Magik Orchestra arranged gracefully behind her, and a soft starlit curtain draped as the backdrop. Every lyric sung and every note played filled the room with emotion, moving many in the audience to tears. Adding to the magic, each fan received a light-up LED lanyard upon arrival, which beautifully complemented the atmosphere during the performance of the fan-favorite “Jonny.” For these shows, “Underdressed at the Symphony” and “I Know You” were performed as special additions to the setlist. Words can hardly capture how emotional and enchanting this night was for everyone in attendance.
