The Summer Set — Regent Theater in Los Angeles, CA — November 3, 2022

If you grew up as part of the emo pop scene then you definitely will remember The Summer Set. The Arizona based band of four originally got their start in high school and captured the ears of many with their infectious brand of pop.

Thursday night brought back all the nostalgia as the band once again took to the stage at the Regent Theater in downtown Los Angeles. After a brief hiatus, you could see how happy they all were to be right back on stage playing together. The fans, even more so, with some lining up since noon that day in order to secure a spot in the pit as close as possible. 

With openers Kailee Morgue and Travis Mills’ band Girlfriends, and a 22 song set list by the Summer Set, the crowd had no other choice but to match their energy to the performers’, jumping, dancing and singing along with every lyric. 

The intimate Regent Theater seemed to be the perfect venue to once again welcome The Summer Set back to the stage and their second home of Los Angeles.
