Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA — July 19, 2026

On July 19th, the Hollywood Bowl was blessed with an electrifying synth-pop showcase co-headlined by Bob Moses and Cannons for their “Afterglow Tour.” As part of the annual KCRW Festival lineup, a beloved summer tradition at the Bowl for the past 26 years, the evening delivered a seamless blend of nostalgia, atmospheric grooves, and high-energy dance music. Taking the stage, Cannons perfectly set the tone for the night. Michelle Joy captivated the crowd with her ethereal vocal presence, floating effortlessly over sultry, neon-drenched grooves driven by Ryan Clapham’s shimmering guitar riffs and Paul Davis’ steady, disco-infused percussion. Building on that momentum, Bob Moses took over to transform the iconic outdoor amphitheater into a pulsing, full-venue dance floor. Duo, Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance injected a raw, rock-infused energy into their live electronic performance, pairing heavy, deep-bass synths with Howie’s rich, commanding vocals. Sweeping through fan favorites like “Tearing Me Up,” “Love Brand New,” and the tour’s title track “Afterglow,” the pair drove the crowd to its feet. Supported by a stunning, synchronized light show that illuminated the hills, Bob Moses closed out the night on a triumphant high, delivering an unforgettable, summer-defining evening under the summer stars of LA.
