Los Angeles, CA — June 25, 2026

Josh Conway’s first-ever solo show kicked off an exclusive three-night residency on June 25th, transforming an intimate rehearsal space in the heart of downtown Los Angeles into a memorable live music experience. The residency celebrated the release of plum, Conway’s debut solo album, released just two weeks ago on June 12. Conway was joined on stage by an all-star band featuring Cole Preston of Wallows, Jesse Perlman of The Marías, and Blake Morell, while Conway mixed live all while switching between instruments. The show’s set showcased the full emotional and sonic range of plum, shifting
from rave-ready house music-esque songs to more stripped-back, emotional tracks like “breathless.” Stunning lights and lasers, paired with a one-of-a-kind 360-degree stage, created a truly intimate and immersive experience, with the crowd just feet away from the performance from every angle.

Throughout the night, Conway and the band seamlessly swapped instruments, creating a show that felt spontaneous, dynamic, and deeply collaborative. Conway’s explosive drum solo sent the crowd into a frenzy, becoming one of the night’s biggest highlights. The night was especially meaningful as it coincided with the fifth anniversary of The Marías’ debut album, Cinema. In its honor, Conway surprised the crowd with a performance of “Talk to Her” before debuting a new version of “Vicious Sensitive Robot,” performing the song as he originally envisioned it many years ago when he wrote it at the age 20. For a debut solo performance, it was wonderful showcase of Conway’s artistry that certainly left fans excited for what’s to come.
