MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA — June 10, 2025

Opening for Queens of the Stone Age on June 10th at MGM Music Hall, The Kills wasted no time in igniting the crowd, launching into their gritty debut track, “Kissy Kissy.” Alison Mosshart stormed the stage with magnetic force—her voice raw, movements electric—while Jamie Hince laid down heavy, distorted riffs that felt both sharp and hypnotic. Their chemistry was undeniable, the kind of locked-in intensity that only years of collaboration can build. The energy between them was as combustible as ever, with Mosshart throwing herself into every line and Hince anchoring the chaos with precision. By the time they moved into “U.R.A. Fever,” the atmosphere had turned sultry and strange in the best way—both of them singing in eerie harmony, voices curling around the beat like smoke. It was a reminder of how effortlessly they blur the lines between garage rock and noir cool. Even in a short opening set, The Kills made it feel like a full-on headline moment—loud, lean, and impossible to ignore.
