It’s a Friday night in Birmingham, Alabama and you can hear the clatter of cowboy boots hitting the pavement as a crowd of eager, starry eyed fans pour into the doors of Saturn to see their favorite Southern Belle, Willow Avalon. From the moment she sang the first note, her voice transported you back in time to a different decade of country music. She puts a modern twist on an old country sound. Enchanting the crowd with songs from her new album, Southern Belle Raisin’ Hell, she had everyone grinning from ear to ear with her witty lyrics and joyful stage presence. Her genuine gratitude and love for her audience brought all the fans at Saturn back down to Earth. With her lace dress twirling, the candles on stage flickering, and the boots in the crowd stomping with every beat, it was surely a night to remember.
