Newport Folk Festival 2026 lineup includes Hayley Williams, Lucy Dacus, Brandi Carlisle, Wednesday, Ms. Lauryn Hill and many more.

Newport Folk Festival is set to return in 2026 with an exciting lineup of big names in the folk and rock world, along with many hand-picked artists on the rise. The festival, which has been around for over 60 years, has always been looking towards the future of folk music and performance. As one of the more intimate music festivals that still brings big-name acts to its stages, Newport Folk Festival can be expected to sell out every year before the lineup is even announced. Attendees of the festival can always expect a myriad of special surprise guests, unique collaborations, and beautiful sunsets over the Harbor Stage.

This year’s Newport Folk Festival will take place in the historic Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island from July 24-26, 2026. The three-day event features local art, music, craftsmanship and delicious food for a weekend of New England culture. The festival announces its musical lineup on a rolling basis, but the artists that have been revealed so far cover a wide range of genres. Established names in this century’s folk and rock such as Brandi Carlile, Hayley Williams, Courtney Barnett, and Lucy Dacus are listed alongside artists that have come up over the last few years such as Searows and Dove Ellis. Folk-rock band, Wednesday will also be returning to the Newport stage on the heels of their critically acclaimed 2025 record, Bleeds. A variety of genres are already represented on what has been revealed of the lineup so far. Between the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill on Friday, and Vulfpeck’s neo-funk jams on Saturday, the lineup looks exciting so far, and we can’t wait to see who will be announced yet!
