Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX — June 16, 2024

Headlining their 2nd world tour, ‘BORN TO BE,’ the Korean girl group, ITZY graced the stage at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. This was their second time in the DFW metroplex, and they certainly came back with a bang.

The girls opened the show with their title track, “BORN TO BE.” The nearly sold out crowd roared, pumping their ITZY fan light rings to the beat, as the girls executed the tour-exclusive choreography. They continued through the night with their broad discography, singing old and new songs alike. The set ranged from electronic dance beats, such as “RACER” to bright, pop songs like “Chillin’ Chillin.’”

The concert also included solo stages from tracks that each of the members wrote, incorporating elements of stage design, bold visual graphics, dazzling outfit changes. The quartet of Yeji, Yuna, Chaeryeong, and Ryujin performed with extreme spirit, despite their 5th member, Lia being on a hiatus.

There were also engaging intermissions that included story-driven VCR videos, dance breaks from the backup dancers, jams with the live band, and sing-alongs with the crowd. The members also made time to engage with the fans through intimate moments and lively stage presence. ITZY definitely gave the MITZY fandom a night to cherish, filled with singing, dancing, and of course, like with any K-pop show, barking.
